How music briefs work

1. Post a brief. Supervisors and the DropCue team describe what they need: genre, mood, BPM range, reference tracks, a deadline, and a submission cap. It takes a minute.

2. Composers submit. Opted-in composers see the brief, filter their own catalog, and submit the right tracks straight from their library. No re-uploading and no email attachments.

3. Review and keep. Audition submissions by submitter, pick your favorites, then download them or pull the winners into your own library and playlists in one click.

For composers: find sync opportunities and land more placements

Stop guessing what supervisors want. Turn on Discovery and active briefs come to you, with a banner flagging new ones and a sidebar count showing what is open to pitch. Filter and sort your whole library by genre, mood, key, and BPM, then submit the tracks that fit. Your music is already on DropCue, so there is nothing to upload. Browse by track or album, preview anything, curate your submission, reorder it, and send a tight, considered package instead of a data dump.

For supervisors: find the right track without the inbox chaos

Spell out the sound and let the right music come to you. Submissions group by submitter so you can move fast. Multi-select, filter to your picks, and star the tracks you love as you listen. Add a submission to your own Media library or build a playlist from your picks, with your own copy ready to share or pitch onward. Download originals one at a time or in bulk. Every submission, note, and decision lives on the brief, searchable and sortable. No inbox full of expiring download links.

Briefs are part of DropCue Discovery

Discovery is the single switch. When a composer turns it on, supervisors can find their catalog and the composer starts receiving briefs to pitch to. One toggle, both directions. Briefs are the demand side of the DropCue supervisor ecosystem, where the people who need music meet the people who make it.
