Colt Jaxon is a country, Western and Americana artist and songwriter raised on a small cattle ranch along Florida’s Nature Coast. Inspired by traditional country storytellers and the raw energy of ’90s rock, Colt developed a sound that draws from both. He plays guitar, mandolin and pedal steel and writes his own songs. Now based in Nashville, Colt writes about things people actually live through: love, heartbreak, growing up, making mistakes and figuring out where you belong. His current release, “Liars, Cheaters & Me,” tells a story almost everyone can relate to: finding out that someone you loved has left you for someone else, and the hurt, sadness and disbelief that come with it.
